The British town of Geddington hosts the last event of the Trial2 World Championship season.
The 2025 Trial2 World Championship reaches its final, decisive round in Great Britain, which returns to the calendar with its first event since 2018. Miquel Gelabert will look to close the season in the best possible way and fight for the title.
The Honda Montesa rider enters the final round in second place in the championship with 345 points, after a campaign in which the development of the RTL Electric has been a key factor. With 80 points still up for grabs, and a 28-point gap to series leader Harry Meningway, Gelabert will try to reach Sunday’s final race with a chance of fighting for the title. For the Barcelona-born rider to take the 2025 crown, he would need to win every race this weekend and hope for mistakes from his rival.
After a difficult weekend in Rhode Island, where a zero on the first day jeopardised his position in the overall standings, Gelabert heads into this final round with motivation high. The team have worked hard during the summer break, and now the priority is to fight for every victory and finish the season feeling as good as possible.
The action in Geddington will begin on Friday with scrutineering, practice, and visits to the zones, while the competition will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. local time.

"The gap to Harry is quite considerable, but we remain confident and have worked very hard with the team. If we want to take the title we need all four wins this weekend, so that's our goal in Great Britain. It won't be easy because there's a lot of competition in the class, but we're stronger than ever and we'll give it our all. Overall, I'm happy with the team's work this season and we want to finish with the best possible result."
Carles Barneda
"Making up a 28 point gap in one weekend won't be easy, but we know what the task is and we'll go out there looking to win all four races. This summer break has been very good for us to work on some things, and we're highly motivated. Overall, it's been a very positive season, in which we've done a great job as a team, so we want to close 2025 on a high note."
