Miquel Gelabert lies third overall with 162 points, and is ready to continue taking strong results.
The fourth round of the 2025 Trial2 World Championship season takes place this weekend in Calvi, Corsica. It will be the first time that this town in the northwest of the French island hosts such an event. Honda Montesa will aim to maintain the good form shown in the last two rounds, held in Portugal and Japan.
Miquel Gelabert faces the fourth round of the season eager to continue his significant progress with the RTL Electric. Aware of the challenges that competing in a completely new venue will pose for all riders, he will aim to continue climbing positions in the overall standings, where he currently holds third place with 162 points.
This round, which marks the halfway point of the season with Sunday’s race, represents another opportunity to close the gap in the standings. In a class where consistency is key, this weekend Gelabert will be looking to minimise mistakes and achieve the best possible results.
Work will begin on Friday with technical and administrative checks, as well as practice and site visits. The first race of the weekend will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., with the same start time for Sunday.

"It was incredible to win in Japan, and even more so doing it on Honda's home turf. We're arriving in Calvi with a good feeling and a clear goal: to win as many races as possible to close the gap in the overall standings. The strategy will be to take each race carefully, without making mistakes. I feel very comfortable with the bike and with the team's work. We've trained hard, so this weekend in Corsica we'll try to continue along the same lines as in the last few races."
Carles Barneda
"We're approaching the fourth round of the championship with very different terrain than Japan, but with the same ambition: to be at the front and fighting for the win in every race. We've analysed the areas where we needed to improve, and the team have worked hard to be prepared. We want to stay in the fight for the title, and to do that, it's key to continue scoring as many points as possible in every race."
